A few days ago, I attended an excellent CILT meeting hosted by Wincanton at their Screwfix site. IMRG gave a detailed insight on the impact of promotional discounts on on-line sales, whilst Homebase, Fatface and Sorted shared their fulfilment experiences.

Looking at efulfilment from both the customer and the retailer perspective, provided an insight to the journeys that both receivers and providers of the service are going through. It highlights the need to continuously be able to adapt fulfilment operations to meet changing criteria.
